I am a nurse scientist passionate about helping caregivers and people living with dementia thrive. With over a decade of experience in leading large-scale research projects focused on improving well-being among individuals living with dementia and their caregivers, I understand what caregivers truly need: support, knowledge, and connection.
My research, funded by organizations such as the National Institutes of Health and the Alzheimer’s Association, focuses on music-based approaches to improve well-being for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. As a nurse with a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, I believe caregivers deserve safe, supportive, and holistic communities where they can learn, share, and feel less isolated during one of life’s toughest journeys.
I am on a mission to create spaces where every caregiver feels connected, empowered, and nurtured because traditional healthcare often leaves caregivers out of the conversation, and that needs to change.
